I'm in Sacramento
Not a whole lot of pics are going to come out of here. I'm going to be
visiting with friends for a few days. Might have more to share this
weekend.

More photos from the road
More photos.
Not the clearest shot, but it's another one of me. This time in front of the Negro League Baseball Museum.
After leaving the museum I took a loooong drive across Kansas into...
As an added bonus I was treated to a huge rainbow right across the Colorado border as I was fueling up.
My first order of business in CO? Gotta tour the Coors brewery, of course.

There really wasn't much more beyond that. A couple of shots of the bottling line. Overall the Coors tour was probably the most boring of all the tours that I've been on. At least they had a good selection in the tasting room at the end.
I more than made up for it yesterday though. Yesterday I headed up to Ft. Collins from Denver so that I could enjoy the tasty brews at the New Belgium brewery.
Some of the ingredients that go into NB brews.
These casks are holding La Folie as it ages. Easily one of my new favorites from NB. I even landed the contact info for the Socal distributors so that I can get a hold of some when I get home.
Can't forget the slide. We got to ride it down at the end of the tour.
One of the Mash Tuns.
More of the containers.

After New Belgium I checked out another local Ft Collins brewery today, the Odell brewery. Unfortunately, this stuff isn't distributed in CA because it's not pasturized. Without pasturization, the shelf life is pretty short and the beer wouldn't be as good by the time it got there. They sure have a lot up on the shelf though.
A shot from outside.
After Odell I hit the road and got some scenic shots of Colorado.

Entered Wyoming for a bit...
Before making my way into Utah for the night.

From here it's on to Sacramento tomorrow. Not sure what kind of timeline I'll be working with. All I know is that the Dodgers play the Giants in about a week, and I want to be around for that.

Photos from the Sony
I'm in Salt Lake city right now, after spending a few days in Colorado. Tomorrow I'll be heading through the rest of Utah, Nevada and into Northern Cali.
Here are some of the photos from St Louis that I took with the Sony.
This was somewhere on the road, probably in Illinois.
Entering St. Louis, I'll have to catch the arch next time that I visit.
First stop on the Budweiser tour was the Clydesdales. Those are some big damn horses.
One of the many buildings in the facility.
From a different angle.
If there is one thing they are good at, it's labeling the buildings. You never forgot where you were at.
After the brewery tour I headed up the street to Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals. As an added treat they were playing the Dodgers!
Unfortunately the Dodgers played like crap and the Cardinals killed them. The Cards ended up taking three games out of the four they played this week. Not a good showing by the boys in blue.
On the way back to my hotel after the game my odometer rolled over to 100,000 miles. Kinds neat. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to catch the picture because the flash was reflecting off the plastic the first couple of tries. Finally I found an angle that worked and I was able to catch it.
